India Won The match at Edgbaston
This Sunday at Edgbaston, was the glorious day for the Indian cricket team. With a solid and strong start by sachin and ganguly, India Beat England by 38 runs. All the players have played very well. If we talk about batting and bowling, it was excellent and all the players have did good there. England won the tos and elected to field first. In first innings India has made a huge score of 324 runs on the loss of 6 wickets, despite of the rain for some times. Chasing the huge target of 324 runs, England team gave an excellent start. Despite of falling of wicket, they were maintaining high run rate. Due to rain the match delayed for some time and after the rain it gain continued. But whole England team made only 242 runs on the loss of 8 wickets and due to the bad weather conditions, the match was given in the favor of Indians.
Sourabh and Sachin have played very slow for staring 5 over. But after the 5 over Sachin Tendulkar showed her for and hit 3 continuous fours and then Sourabh Gangully. Sachin made 71 runs on 59 balls, saurav made 59 of 79 balls. The next come Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj singh. Both the players have played very well and Gambir scored 51 and Yuvi Scored 72 runs. In the end over, it started rain and match was delayed for some couple of minutes. Dravid and Dhoni have ended the match with a huge chasing score.
What the weak point is, Fielding again.
Two catches were dropped in the slip by sachin and saurav. Zahir khan was got angry but did not lose her patience. In the next over MS Dhoni took the catch for Zahir. Then ganguly took two wickets and Ajit agarkar 1 wicket. Ganguly declared man of the match for his all-rounder performance in batting, bowling and fielding.
Sunday was the great day for the Indians. It they would have lose the match there, there would be no interest in coming matches.
Not accepting the truth, Indian vice captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Said that we don’t have strong arms like Australian cricket team players. He specially focused Andrew Symonds. He has also stated that there is a lack of infrastructure in India which is an obstacle in the development for new younger cricket players. He said, whenever you dive for a ball, you will return back with a mark on your body and arms. But some cricketers who has got excellent environment have showed very well like Robin Uthappa and Sohit Sharma. They got their practice at Bangalore. Dravid accepted that British have better fielding in compare to our team.
