India Vs England first ODI - India won the match


What a match that was between India and England. Today on 14th of November England won the toss and asked to bat first. The match was played at Rajkot.


From Indian side Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir started the batting as opening batsman. In the fist 10 overs India could not do well and could only make 53 runs.


Then sahwag stared hitting and at the end of 15th over India was on 90 without any loss. In the 17th over V Sehwag scored his 50 and that was his 30th fifty in ODI, just after In the 19th over in Gautam Gambhir slams 12th ODI fifty. Both the bats man were playing extremely well and were hitting 4s and 6s.


Just in 23rd over India reach 153 on the loss of 2 wickets.
Then Raina and yuvraj came for the batting. Yuvraj played well and scored 138 run on just 78 balls. It is a very good batting performance by yuvraj ever. Vireder sehwag scored 85 run in 75 balls. Raina scored 43 and Dhoni scored 39. At the end of 50 over India scored 387 runs on the loss of 5 wickets.


From the England side no other batsman except Kevin Pietersen and Ravi Bopara could do well. Peitersen scored 63 run and got run out whereas Ravi remain unbeaten on 54 in just 38 balls. The whole England team got out in 37.4 overs and could make only 229 runs.
